I am having a pretty face with Too Face Shadow Bon Bons Palette

Over the holidays I purchased Too Face Shadow Bon Bons eyeshadow palette. I fell in love over the whimsical yet neutral color scheme of the eye shadows. Even though the name is called "Bon Bons" this is not a candy colored palette.
The palette contains a total of 12 powder eyeshadow, one eyeshadow primer (a sample size of Too Faced Shadow Insurance in Candlelight,) and a full size mascara (Too Faced Lashgasm Mascara.)

The Too Faced Shadow Insurance in Candlelight is a a very shimmery light champagne color. One could build up the primer and it will appear almost gold.
The First Row of eye shadow colors we have are Vanilla, Cut the Cake, Framboise, and Coffee Bean.

Vanilla is an off white color, very pretty in the pan but sadly non-existent on the skin unless you put about 10 layers of color.
Cut the Cake is a beautiful lavender color, you do have to build the color to get it to be opaque. Framboise is a winner in the first row, it can be described as a grayed amethyst color. With just one swipe it comes out opaque.
Coffee Bean is a very dark, shimmery brown. This is a spot on imitation of a coffee bean color, but with shimmer.

Here are some swatches on my arm. In order to give a true display of the color quality I used the Urban Decay original eyeshadow primer potion. The colors are from left to right:
The second row of colors are Peach Fuzz, Hot Cocoa, Candy Rose, and Lovely Dovey.

Peach Fuzz is a very shimmery peach color. It comes out opaque but very light. This is probably used best as a highlighter.
Hot Cocoa is a very nice chocolate brown.
Candy Rose is a shimmery dusty pink color. This is probably the most adorable color I have ever seen.
Lovey Dovey is a brown that has a purple undertone. The only color that I can compare it to is mahogany.

All these colors performed very well on the skin.
The third row of colors are Nude Beach, Cinnamon Sugar, Marzipan, and Licorice Latte.
Nude Beach is a metallic nude color. Opaque at first swipe.
Cinnamon Sugar is a metallic bronze color. Very nice color pay off.
Marzipan is a light coco color. Sadly, this color like Vanilla (from the first row) comes out very sheer. It does not build up to any kind of color intensity.
Licorice Latte is a very rich black color with golden glitter. This is a very beautiful shade can I can see it be used to create a soft but striking cat eye or a sparkle smoky eye.
Final Word
This palette is pretty good palette not necessarily one that I would tell others to run out and purchase. This is due that these are colors we have seen before and it just bothers the living daylights out of me that some come out soooo sheer.

The winner or winners of this palette goes to row two. I can't help it, Candy Rose is the kitten mewing at me. It is just so super cute. Ok, I am back, just went off into the cutesy land.

I will be doing a future stand alone review of the Too Faced Lashgasm.
