A cause to be a part of

About 3 months ago I cut off all my hair and it was one of the best things I did. I donated it to Pantene's Beautiful Lengths foundation. This foundation donates hair to be made into wigs for those who suffer from cancer and lost their hair due to chemotherapy. It was a very fulfilling experience. I thought I would feel subconscious about the drastic reduction of hair but the exact opposite; I felt liberated. If anyone needs a cut and wants to cut off about 7 inches, DONATE IT!

Find Love in Paris with NYX Cosmetics

NYX wants us to purchase a ticket to Paris with these eyeshadow palettes. There is a total of 12 color options to choose from. I have chosen two to review. I have chosen (shown from Left to Right) Mon Cherie and Let them eat Cake.

Mon Cherie: half a bold color palette; the other half neutral color choices. The colors that leaned to white or a vanilla came out sheer but the rest of the colors came out perfect. One can create a multitude of looks with this one palette.

Let Them Eat Cake: I love this palette. This is the perfect neutral palette. I love the warm pink and peach accent colors that it has. This is the perfect palette for the fem of the feminines.

I suggest these palettes for purchase. They are $10.00 each and available for purchase at NYXcosmetics.com

A Look to try

Well in this case, three looks to try. I was watching the Witches of Eastwick today and I noticed for the first time how natural and flawless the makeup was on the main characters of the film. Specifically, Cher. She looked gorgeous. I suggest that everyone watches it and sees what I mean. Apparently line work was in during the time of the film.

Put your best Skin Forward

We only have one skin that we have for the rest of our lives so we have to take care of it. Here are some ways that I have learned and discovered one can take care of their skin.

1. Eat fruits and vegetables: we are what we eat. Fruits and vegetables contain the natural nutrients and antioxidants that take care of our skin and keeps it supple. It also helps keeping our skin clear from blemishes and dark marks.

2. Cut Down on dairy: Dairy, since it contains dairy sugar, can lead to blemishes. So don't over do it.

3. Drink Water: Our skin is like a sponge when dry its hard and doesn't expand; when wet it is moist and flexible.

4. Put on sunscreen: whether its in your moisturizer, BB cream, or just regular sunscreen, put it on! It protects you from skin marks and skin cancer.

5. Cut out Fast Food and junk food. These kind of foods contain more grease than home cooked meals so keep it to either 3 times a week or just eat at home. Plus, the money you save can help you buy more fantastic skin care or cosmetic products.

Remember Beauty is from the inside out so take care of yourself
