Get a Blush Just like Betty and Veronica

For this article I will be reviewing the blushes from the Archie's Girls line. There are a total of two blushes, one for Veronica and one for Betty.

Veronica Blush: Prom Princess

This is a powder blush, it is a berry/light wine. I just love the color payoff.

Betty Blush: Cream Soda

This is a peachy cream color. Very sheer on my skin tone but I do feel that it will be more visible on lighter skin tones.

Left to Right, Cream Soda and Prom Princess

I personally love these blushes. I do recommend them for purchase. I see Prom Princess working on all skin tones but Cream soda maybe tricky to pull off on some. Available for purchase on www.maccosmetics.com and at the counters February 14, 2013. They are priced at $22.00.

MAC ARCHIE'S GIRLS EYESHADOW SWATCH AND REVIEW

There here!

For the first part of the series I will be reviewing and swatch-ing the eye shadow palette and one of the eye liners, the rest have been shipped separately.

Veronica's Palette: Spoiled Rich

This a purple and blue based palette. The first color is a matte violet. The second a shimmery grape. The third a shimmery denim color. The last color is a matte charcoal color. These colors came out very sheer, you have to layer it on to get a good dose of color opacity.

Betty's Palette: Caramel Sundae

This is a neutral palette, Neapolitan based color. It has a shimmery pink, creamy yellow, and a light chocolate. The last color is a matte dark chocolate color. Again, this is very sheer and you need to layer on the color to build color opacity. I am a fan of this palette.

Veronica Eyeliner: Petrol Blue

A very pretty shimmery denim blue color. Very creamy. Great Color Payoff.

The eyeliners are priced at $16.50. The Palettes are $44.00 a pop. I am a fan of the caramel sundae palette but disappointed in the sheerness of the eye shadows. They are available for purchase at www.maccosmetics.com and will be available at the counters on February 14, 2013.

Lets take a trip to the Land of Oz with Urban Decay

Urban Decay has created two eye shadows and lip palette representing the two main female leads in the movie "Oz: The Great and Powerful." The palettes are Theodora and Glinda.

Theodora: Some Package Pics

Glinda:

Palettes Rundown:

Theodora: Definitely the darker schemed palette of the two. All earth tone colors and rich greens. The lip color is a very glossy bright cherry red (I am a big fan of it.) This palette contains two duo colors. One a two tone green and one a gold/black combo. The eye shadows are split in half between matte and shimmer. All the colors have excellent color pay off. Eye liner is a basic black.

Glinda: Lighter of the two palettes. The colors have this fantastic iridescent quality that I just love and you get that the most with the colors.  Especially with Aura, the duo color in the top row, has a beautiful violet iridescence. The other duo is a gold/silver combo. The lip color is this pink sand/salmon color (I am not really a fan of it.) The eyeliner is a grayed dark purple with iridescent micro shimmer.

Since these are limited edition I do highly recommend both for purchase. You can purchase them at www.Urbandecay.com or www.Sephora.com. GO quick before they run out. Happy shopping!

Do a shadow play with Flower Shadow Play Eye Shadow Quad

This article concludes my review/swatch marathon of Drew Barrymore's Flower line. This article will review one of the color quad choices from, Flower Shadow Play Eye Shadow Quads. The color choice  that will be reviewed is the quad, Blue Lagoons.

This Quad is a teal/blue based quad. Very lagoon colors in this quad. All the colors are very shimmer heavy.

Swatch Time:

These are nice colors, but just nice. These were a kind of ehh colors for me. The texture which is somewhat chalky, I wasn't impressed with. I would go with the creme eyeshadows from this line than the quads. These are available for purchase at Walmart and www.walmart.com, priced at 9.98.

Flower Kiss Stick Velvet Lip Color Part 2

Hi everyone. I am just about done reviewing what I have from the Flower line. I will conclude reviewing Flower Kiss Stick Velvet Lip Color. These are matte lipsticks. Personally, out of all the lipsticks from this line, this set is my top choice.
From Left to Right, Tender Tuberose, Dahlia Dahling, and Flamingo Flower.

Tender Tuberose: This a mauve pink color. Very good color payoff.

Dahlia Dahling: a rich berry red.

Flamingo Flower: A hot fuchsia pink. Awesome opacity.

Swatch Time:
Left to Right, Tender Tuberose, Dahlia Dahling, and Flamingo Flower.

I personally recommend for purchase Flamingo Flower and Dahlia Dahling. They have just a beautiful color that I feel will work with everyone. Since they are a matte finish they will dry the lips. So balm up after use. They are available for purchase at Walmart and www.walmart.com for $6.98.

Flower Lip Service Lip Butter Review Part 2

Hi everyone. I know I know I have been missing in action but, I am going to make it up to you guys. I am going to wrap up my reviews of the Drew Barrymore's Flower line. I am going to finish up reviewing the Flower Lip Service Lip Butter line. Again, these colors are very smooth and lip balm like.

Colors Left to Right, Wispy Wisteria, Rose-y Future, Cherry Chiffon, and Sheer Snapdragon.

Wispy Wisteria: Is is a sheer light violet color. Very pretty on my skin tone.

Rose-y Future: very reddish pink.

Cherry Chiffon: Sheer cherry red. Very nice color. Do need to build it to intensity.

Sheer Snapdragon: A tanned pink color. Definitely not my favorite of the bunch.

Swatch Time:
Left to Right: Wispy Wisteria, Rose-y Future, Cherry Chiffon, and Sheer Snapdragon.

Due to the texture and consistency of these lipsticks they don't have long stay time. The winner of this bunch is Wispy Wisteria. Its such a beautiful color. These are available for purchase at Walmart and www.walmart.com at $6.98.
